From March, 10 till March, 12th in Moscow,
in the World Traide Center has passed
3rd International specialized exhibition
"Wedding World and Graduation ball-2009".
The exhibition has passed with the support of Russian Federation State Duma Committee of Family, Women and Children, the Committee of Public Relations of Moscow, the Department on Family and Youth Policy of Moscow.
At the official opening ceremony of the exhibition with the welcoming speech appeared Nina Ostanina, the member of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children. She noted that in terms of strengthening the family institution, this exhibition is especially actual.
More than 60 participants from Russia and Europe have presented a wide spectrum of the goods and services for the organization of two most important days – Wedding and Graduation ball. Magnificent wedding dresses, gifts and various wedding accessories, wedding cakes and luxury limousines, wedding and travel agencies, photo- and video studios, beauty salons and studios of floristic design.
Among participants of the exhibition were the famous foreign and Russian companies, such as Pepe Botella (Spain), Dolce Emozione (Italy), Giuliana L’Atelier (Italy), La Corte degli Sposi (Italy), Groupe Pronuptia (France), Trade mark «Elena Medinskaya» (Belorussia), Topaza Pella (Russia), and etc.
The Russian distributors have presented wedding dresses of world-famous brands, such as La Sposa, San Patrick and BestNovias (Spain), Jenny Packham, Benjamin Roberts (England), Matrimonia (France), Lohrengel (Germany)

“Sergey Pugachev” Fashion House, which creates one of the best wedding and evening dresses in Russia, has shown the new collection. Each dress from designer Sergey Pugachev is individual and unique.
Original and unusual dresses were brought to Russia by Spanish company «Pepe Botella».
At the booth of Studio of flowers «SIN», visitors met the surprising world of colours, bouquets, buttonholes and ideas for a wedding interior.
Collection of stylish wedding shoes decorated with original embroidery, presented the largest supplier of wedding footwear – Russian company “Joins&Ko” from St.Petersburg. One pair of wedding shoes was received as a gift by the future bride - the winner of amusing competition "The Shoe for the Cinderella".
Fashion house «ANIYA» has presented a hand-made wedding accessories.
An interesting suggestions on the organization of wedding trip to Venice , demonstrated the Italian travel company «La Corte degli Sposi».
The wedding ceremony in the Holy land, in Jerusalem, in the Church of Romanov family offered Russian travel agency «Your Jules Verne».
On the booth of «Akkanto» confectionery visitors can see, taste and order magnificent, delicious and low-calories wedding cakes.
Russian company «Aeroecology» presented in foye magic inflatable Lotus flower, which can open and show to the guests a just-married couple.
Bright and rich exhibition program includes activities for both visitors and specialists:
Thus, the first day of the exhibition was a bright fashion show of wedding and evening dresses from Spanish, Italian, French, English, Belarusian and Russian designers.
On the same day, a well-known designer and decorator Helen Teplitskaya summed up the 1-st stage of the competition «Silver Lace». The winners in the nomination:
- The classic wedding dress - wedding salon «Belosnezhka»,
- The original wedding dress - wedding salon «Wendy».
And everybody were surprised by a collection of evening dresses from young, but very talented designer from Khabarovsk -Vera Dubinina.
For those who want to enhance their professionalism, was organized a seminar «Technology of the celebrations», which performed by Igor Uvenchikov, the chief-editor of a well-known magazine «Holiday».
Very popular among photographers was master-class of well-known photographers Laslo Gabani and Alexander Nozdrin.
The second day of the exhibition became a day of the All-Russian Festival of Brides: “On the wings of love’s angels ...", in which participants from different regions of Russia were fighting for the title of Diamond Bride of Russia in 2008.
At the last day of exhibition the actor and entertainer Roman Akimov has held a seminar about art of conducting a wedding celebration.
During the all three days of exhibition passed cheerful and colourful presentations from the «Central Entertaining Agency» and from the company «Fiery people».
About 3,500 people from Moscow and Russian regions attended the exhibition, and the results of a sociological survey show that 55% of them are experts (representatives of wholesale and retail trade
companies or shop owners) and about 35% are individuals.
